School vacations bring joy to children and a chance for family getaways. This time, we visited the newly launched W15 Ambuluwawa, a spectacular retreat atop a hill. Our room, perched at the edge of the building, offered a breathtaking 180-degree view—from the sky to the mountains and greenery below. With only a glass wall separating us from the vast embrace of Mother Nature, it felt like we were floating among the clouds. We enjoyed sunrises to our right and sunsets to our left, all from the comfort of our bed. The clouds often enveloped the hills, creating a surreal airplane-like experience. During our stay, evenings brought the soothing patter of gentle rain, the crisp touch of cool breezes, and a cozy chill that beckoned us to revel in passion, indulge in desire, and savor the warmth of tea.
